Principal Dancer

Gagik Tadevosyan

Gagik Tadevosyan was born in Parbi, Armenia. He started dancing Latin American dances since age 11,he was accepted into the Armenian Berd Ensemble Studio and also studied in Armenian National Folk Ensemble. At age of 17 Gagik became a soloist dancer in Berd Ensemble. Two years’ latter Gagik was invited to perform for Armenian National Opera and Theatre. Same time he was studying in Armenian National University of Khachatur Abovian, he studied choreography, ballet, and other art of dance, and in 2016 he graduated with a Master Degree in Art of Dance. In 2013 and 2014 he had a tour to France as part of Sharm Holding Artists with Serje Avetikyan. After University Gagik was submitted to the special military corps for students who graduate from University of Art and Cultural education and serve in the army for 2 years. Being a military man he visited the USA for the first time on tour with special approval from the Government. During his dance career in Armenia he had teachers as Boris Gevorkian, Karen Gevorkian, worked  with Rudolf Kharatyan. Performed for “Spartacus”, Aznavour “La Bohema”, “Two Sons”. Participated in performance fpr Armenian Theatre and Movie Univercity. Was invited by “Aurora Humanitarian Initiative” Ruben Vardanyan to perform for their Gala where he personally met Charlse Aznavour, George Clooney and other world wide public figures who participate in the. 

After he finished his military service he moved to USA in 2018 and began his dancer career as a Principal Dance Teacher in Heritage Dance and Cultural Academy and as well being a soloist dancer in Petrossian Dance Theatre Company since 2019. Took Gran Pri in Paris, France in 2019 at the International Dance Championship. 

Gagik Tadevosiyan is a soloist and principal dancer of Petrossian Theatre and Dance Company.  

Elena Nesterova

Elena Nesterova was born in Mykolaev, Ukraine. She started her dance life adventure at age of 6. Elena was a soloist dancer in National Mykolaev Ballroom Ensemble Theatre “Gracia” for 4 years. In 2010 she was a finalist of the National Ukrainian Sport and Ballroom Dance Championship and won 1st place with her partner. Elena continue her dance career in Kharkov, Ukraine till 2013. After that in 2013 she moved to Hong Kong to continue her dance career as a professional dancer and coach for young dancers. In 2014 Elena and her partner were finalists in Hong Kong Ballroom Dance Championship. By the end of 2015 she participated and entered the semi final of Raising Star in London. In 2015 she moved to Miami Florida and after in 2016 to Los Angeles California. Once again in 2018 she participated in the USA Rising Star championship and won 2nd place. Elena became a part of Petrossian Theatre from the very beginning of establishment of the Theatre in 2019. She danced the main woman role in “Once Again Charles Aznavour ”. Elena won the title of Miss Russian America in 2020.

Tina Hovhannesyan

Tina Hovhannisyan, born and raised in Los Angeles, began her dance studies at 4 years old and continued to pursue the art form throughout childhood and adolescence. She has had experience in acting and modeling, and has took part in a couple of commercials and music videos. Until 13 years old, she danced Latin Ballroom professionally and attended many competitions in which she had much success. She placed 1st overall at the California Open Dancesport Championship in 2012, 1st at the 2011 Dessert Classic Dance Sport Championship, 3rd in 2011 at the California Open Dancesport Championship and a finalist at many other competitions such as The Royal Ball, Great Gatsby Gala Dancesport, and the Emerald Ball. Since then, she has trained in a number of different styles such as Latin Ballroom, International Folk, Ballet, Jazz and more. In 2020, she discovered Heritage Dance and Cultural Academy and quickly fell in love with the school. She graduated in the August of 2021 and became a teacher assistant. She has taken part in multiple  dance festivals with Heritage Dance and has danced in 7 “Once Again, Charles Aznavour” performances with Petrossian Theatre Dance Company. She is now a teacher at Heritage Dance and Cultural Academy and is a proud dancer with Petrossian Theatre Dance Company.

Liya Kazbekova

Liya was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, started to dance 20 years ago. Since her first steps into the dance world, she knew she was going to pursue her career professionally. Liya has studied ballroom dancing all around the world, taking classes with the world’s best teachers from Russia, Poland, Germany, Italy, England, USA and more.

Liya won and became a medalist of many International Competitions around the world (Italy, Germany, France, Lithuania, Poland, England, USA, Georgia, Korea, China) 

Professional Ballroom Dancer, 12 times Kazakhstan National Champion, 2x World Championship finalist, 2x German Open Championship finalist , Master of Sport , Asian Indoor Games finalist 2013, US National, Professional RS finalist, Winner and medalist of many International competitions.

5 years ago Liya pursued her career in the United States and now she represents the United States on International and National competitions. And also she is a dance artist in Petrosyan Dance Theater Company. 

Anastasia Rodina

Was born in one of the beautiful cities of Ukraine, Zaporozhye. When she was 9 years old, her mother took her to the Ensemble of variety and sports dance “Pearl” -“Zhemchuzhina”, and her journey into the world of dance began. Anastasia performed and participated as a part of “ Pearl” in Ukrainian and international festivals and competitions, where they took first places.

At the age of 15, Anastasia enrolled to the the Kyiv Academy of Dance named after Serge Lifar for classical choreography. In 2013 she  graduated from the academy with honors and qualified as a ballet dancer and classical dance teacher. In 2016 she received a bachelor’s degree at the Department of Choreography at Kherson State University. Immediately after graduating from the academy, she worked at the Kiev Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theater for Children and Youth. From 2016 to 2019 Anastasia worked with “Sofit Production”. During her work with “Sofit Production” she worked with Dwight Roden during the creation of the ballet “The Great Gatsby” and Edwar Clug, in his ballet “Radio & Juliet”.  She played one of the main roles – Juliet. Over the years of her professional activity as a member of various ballet companies ,Anastasia have successfully toured countries such as: Australia, New Zealand, China, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, and the USA.

Arno-Steen Tsembengoy

Arno was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. He has been dancing most of his life. When Arno was 13 years old, he attended a dance class for the first time. At the age of 15, his professional training in classical dance began, and 4 years later Arno graduated from the Kyiv Choreographic College “Kyanochka”.

Immediately after graduating from college, he began working at the National Opera of Ukraine. Taras Shevchenko. From 2016 to 2019, he collaborated with Sofit Production, where he was able to reveal his creative potential in modern choreography in productions by Dwight Roden and Edwar Clug. Over the years of professional activity, he has worked with many eminent and talented choreographers, dancers and vocalists such as: Nacho Duato, Denis Matvienko, Viktor Ishuk, Ivan Vasiliev, Anatoliy Sachivko, Jamala, Noga Erez, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tina Karol, Loboda and many others. Has toured with ballet companies to Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Germany.
